Terms of Service

The service #

TastePatch is a private food memory app for iOS and Android. It is provided by PT Langit Cerah Teknologi, under the brand Just Another Simple App ("we"). These Terms cover the app, its optional cloud features and subscriptions. By using TastePatch, you agree to them.

You can make Patches from dishes and drinks, keep dining moments as Pages, and collect them in a Journal and Books. Nothing is public. Sharing means exporting an image you choose to send.

Age and optional accounts #

You must be at least 13 to use TastePatch. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using this kind of service, or requires a parent or guardian’s consent, that rule applies.

You don’t need an account to keep memories on your phone. You can sign in with Apple on iOS or Google on iOS and Android to use cloud features. Signing in alone uploads no memories. Keep your sign-in account secure.

Your content #

Your photos, Patches, Stickers, notes and other content stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, process, back up and sync content for the features you choose. We don’t sell your content or use it for advertising.

Only add content you have the right to use, and respect other people’s privacy, including when you export an image.

Acceptable use #

Don’t use TastePatch for unlawful activity, infringement, harassment or abuse. Don’t try to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, get around security or cloud limits, or upload malicious code.

We may restrict account or cloud access where reasonably needed to deal with a breach, a security issue or a legal duty.

Free and paid plans #

Capturing, Punching, Pages, Books, your history and adding old memories are free, with unlimited Patches. Free lets you make 2 Journals on a phone and sync 1 Journal with 150 MB of cloud photo space.

Pro costs US$3.99 per month or US$29.99 per year, and lets you make and sync 5 Journals with 5 GB each. Premium costs US$9.99 per month or US$79.99 per year, and lets you make and sync 25 Journals with 5 GB each. Both include members-only Punches, colours and patterns.

Prices can differ by country. The App Store or Google Play shows your price, currency, taxes and billing period before you confirm. Nothing is sold on this website.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds #

Subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple or Google account. RevenueCat manages subscription status. We never see your card details.

Any trial or offer exists only if your store shows it at purchase. Deleting TastePatch or your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Refund requests go through Apple or Google, under their policies and your consumer rights.

When a plan ends #

Your memories on your phone are never locked or removed when a plan ends. Every Journal keeps working, but you can’t make a new one while you’re above your plan’s limit.

The Journal you choose, or otherwise your oldest, keeps backing up within the Free allowance. Other Journals show photo backup as paused. For 90 days after a plan ends or is refunded, you can still download photos already in the cloud. After that, cloud copies of photos above the Free allowance may be removed. Your Page details stay.

Archive export #

Exporting a portable Archive file is free. A Sync Journal backs up and syncs across your devices, and other Journals stay on their phone. Keep your own copy before replacing a phone or removing data.

Availability and changes #

We provide TastePatch "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows. We can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, and features may change.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer law.

Liability #

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential loss from using or being unable to use the service, including lost content. Keep your own copies of memories that matter to you.

Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Deletion and termination #

You can stop using the app at any time. You can delete your account in the app after signing in again. This erases your cloud records and photos, and you choose whether to keep your Journals on your phone.

We may suspend or end account or cloud access for a serious breach, or if the service closes. Where we reasonably can, we’ll give notice and a chance to recover your content.

Changes to these Terms #

If these Terms change, we’ll publish the new version here and update the date. We’ll tell you about important changes where the law requires it.

Governing law and contact #

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. This doesn’t remove consumer rights you have where you live.
